Lyndon Powell, the Leeds Rapist sex offender, has been incarcerated for over ten years following a conviction for severe sexual offences in Leeds.
Lyndon Powell, 35 years old and homeless, was sentenced to 15 years in jail at Leeds Crown Court on 14 October for the crime of sexual assault by penetration.
The offence occurred against a woman in the Leeds region in June 2024 and was reported shortly thereafter.
Lyndon Powell was apprehended and subsequently charged in March of this year after a comprehensive investigation conducted by specialised safeguarding adult detectives.
Lyndon Powell was placed in court prison and convicted of the charge by a jury after a trial in September.
