After repeatedly disobeying a court order, a repeat sexual offender from Chatham was imprisoned.

The 34-year-old Andrew Veck was placed on an interim Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) after he had previously acknowledged committing sexual offences, such as voyeurism, in which he had surreptitiously recorded an adolescent taking a shower.

Officers were permitted by the SHPO to conduct random inspections of his residence, beginning in August 2025. A variety of internet-enabled devices and storage devices, including a cell phone, hard drives, and USB sticks, that he had neglected to report to the police, were found.

A closer look at one hard disc showed footage of another victim using the lavatory that had been recorded without their permission. Additionally, it was discovered that he had been utilising private browsers, which erased his search history.

In October, an unmarked patrol saw Veck driving his partner’s vehicle on Fifth Avenue in Margate. He was detained after it was discovered that he was uninsured for the car and had taken it without his partner’s permission.

Officers asked Veck to show any unreported internet-enabled gadgets during an unplanned visit on November 5, 2025, as allowed by the SHPO. He claimed not to have any, but he was taken into custody after he claimed a neighbour’s phone was ringing. The gadget and weed were in his loft.

On November 11, he entered a guilty plea to all charges at Medway Magistrates’ Court. On Thursday, June 18, 2026, Veck of Ordnance Street, Chatham, received a 28-month prison sentence. Because he violated his suspended sentence, he will serve an extra 12 months.
