Mark Rand, the Rugby Paedophile, 67, received a 14-month prison sentence after detectives discovered thousands of indecent photographs and recordings of youngsters in his residence.
Detectives conducted a raid on Mark Rand’s residence on Blackwood Avenue in the early hours of January 16, 2020.
Upon the investigators’ explanation of their presence, Mark Rand stated, “That will be me.”
He was then apprehended, and officers later uncovered 3,027 indecent photos of minors and 141 indecent videos of minors.
During the interrogation, Mark Rand confessed to downloading the material, informing officers that he began watching pornographic photographs of minors during a period of depression.

Mark Rand was ultimately convicted of three counts of producing indecent images or pseudo-photographs of a minor.
On Thursday, November 3, Mark Rand received a 14-month prison sentence.
