In 2022, Adrian Weston, the Swindon Paedophile, was sentenced to over three years in prison after admitting to many charges involving indecent photos of minors.
Adrian Weston, 37, of Haydon End, appeared at Swindon Crown Court on November 4 and pleaded guilty to arranging or facilitating the commission of a child sex offence, three counts of producing indecent photographs of a child, possessing a prohibited image of a child, distributing an indecent photograph of a child, two counts of attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child, and possession of an extreme pornographic image.
Adrian Weston was sentenced to 42 months of incarceration and issued an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
In the summer of 2021, we had information concerning Adrian Weston and obscene photographs of minors. He was apprehended, and over 300 ‘Category A’ indecent photographs of minors were discovered on his gadgets.
Category A pertains to instances illustrating the most severe forms of child abuse.
While under investigation, Adrian Weston interacted with an undercover police officer online, whom he presumed to be an adult male with an 11-year-old stepdaughter. Weston urged him to film himself sexually assaulting his stepdaughter while she was asleep and thereafter transmit the tape to him.
Detective Constable Justine Parsons of Wiltshire Police’s Child Internet Exploitation Team stated: “Upon the officers’ second visit to Adrian Weston’s residence, he endeavoured to postpone opening the door to the officers in order to replace the SIM card in his phone and eliminate evidence.”
“We anticipate this case underscores the efforts of our team to identify perpetrators who access these images and ensure their prosecution.”
