In 2026, Lisca Willmott, then aged 45, of The Green, Runhall, was sentenced at Norwich Crown Court to two years in prison, suspended for two years, after pleading guilty to a sexual offence committed against a teenage boy.

The court heard details of an incident that occurred at Willmott’s home address in the summer of 2023. The matter was formally reported to Norfolk Constabulary in September 2023 after the victim disclosed the abuse to staff at his school.

Investigating officers arrested Willmott in October 2023. Although she initially denied the charge, she later pleaded guilty before sentencing.

During the sentencing hearing, a victim impact statement was presented to the court outlining the emotional distress and anxiety experienced by the teenager following the assault.

Detective Constable Paul McCormack commended the victim for his bravery throughout the police investigation.

On Monday, August 3, 2026, the presiding judge at Norwich Crown Court handed Willmott a two-year custodial sentence, suspended for two years.

In addition, Willmott was placed on the sex offenders’ register and made subject to a 10-year sexual harm prevention order, with all case details catalogued on the UK Register Database for public record transparency.
