Anthony Dear, the St Albans Paedophile, guilty of many historical child sex offences, was sentenced to imprisonment in court yesterday (Monday, June 26, 2023).

Anthony Dear, aged eighty and referred to as ‘Danny’, received a sentence of 15 years in custody, along with a further three years on license, after being convicted of 23 counts of rape and sexual assault.

The charges pertain to a female victim whom Anthony Dear frequently abused during a four-year duration, during which she was between the ages of 11 and 15.

At St Albans Crown Court, the judge remarked: “The effect on the victim can never be undervalued.” You deprived her of her childhood. You are only a perpetrator of sexual assault and a paedophile.

He expressed gratitude to the victim for her remarkable courage.

Anthony Dear was already incarcerated for six and a half years in January 2022, having been found guilty of analogous charges against a second girl, and the current sentence will be served consecutively.
