Darren Conway, then aged 52, of Enfield, north London, has entered guilty pleas to 11 offences at Wood Green Crown Court after admitting to being at the centre of an international online network that encouraged members to sexually abuse drugged and unconscious women.
The criminal proceedings follow an extensive multi-force investigation initiated in 2025, when police uncovered an organised digital network operating encrypted chatrooms.
The forum served as a dedicated exchange where predators across the United Kingdom and abroad shared footage and photographs documenting sexual assaults, domestic abuse, and drug-facilitated violence carried out against incapacitated victims.
Detectives from the Metropolitan Police seized digital devices from Conway’s address, recovering thousands of communications.
Analysis revealed that Conway acted as an instigator within the network, urging other men to administer sedatives to female victims, commit sexual assaults while they were incapacitated, and record the acts to upload onto the forum.
Prosecutor Alexander Agbamu informed the court that the indictment reflected Conway’s direct participation in an organised infrastructure that coordinated domestic abuse and sexual offending.
Court records detailed specific communications, including incidents in 2025 where Conway repeatedly messaged another forum user, instructing him to remove his wife’s clothing and touch her sexually without her consent while she was unconscious.
The prosecution further outlined that between 2023 and 2026, Conway made at least ten specific demands to other forum members for non-consensual naked images of sleeping and sedated women.
Appearing in the dock at Wood Green Crown Court wearing a grey tracksuit, Conway spoke solely to confirm his personal details and enter formal guilty pleas to:
- Nine counts of assisting or encouraging an offence
- One count of voyeurism
- One count of possessing an extreme pornographic image
Police confirmed that the wider investigation into the online network has thus far led to the arrest of eight men across the United Kingdom, with inquiries continuing internationally.
Following the pleas, Metropolitan Police Commander Andy Day stated that Conway had exposed women to catastrophic danger within their own domestic environments, targeting victims who were asleep, unconscious, or stupefied, solely for his personal gratification.
Judge John Dodd KC remanded Conway in custody and adjourned proceedings for sentencing at Wood Green Crown Court on 30 October.
