The Offender Database reported that Mikey Winchester, a Newhaven Paedophile Child Molester who impersonated a teenage girl on social media to exploit multiple young females, has been sentenced to prison.
Mikey Winchester, 25, of Gibbon Road, Newhaven, East Sussex, solicited three girls—two aged ten and one aged thirteen—via Snapchat and Instagram in 2022 and 2023.
Sussex Police was first informed of Winchester’s criminal activities by another police force in May 2023. The authorities received reports from two ten-year-old girls who were solicited by a Snapchat user identified as ‘avadunn2.0’.
The account identified as ‘Ava’ was, in reality, Mikey Winchester masquerading as a 13-year-old girl.
Mikey Winchester transmitted sexual photographs to both victims prior to soliciting explicit images of themselves in return. Both victims explicitly indicated their status as young children in their communication with Winchester.
The texts were found on both children’s phones, and the Snapchat account was linked to Mikey Winchester’s residence in Newhaven.
On May 18, 2023, officers conducted a home visit, apprehended the individual, and confiscated several digital devices.
In August 2023, another police department sent an investigation to Sussex Police regarding a 13-year-old girl who had been groomed on Instagram by an account entitled ‘dumbphoebelol’.
This involved Mikey Winchester impersonating a teenage girl to transmit obscene photographs and coerce the victim into reciprocating with explicit images.
Both social media accounts were connected to Mikey Winchester’s devices, along with 69 photographs of child sexual assault and four images of violent animal pornography.
He was then charged with three charges of sexual communication with a minor, instigating sexual conduct with a minor (both with and without penetration), three counts of producing indecent photos of a minor (Categories A, B, and C), and four counts of possessing extreme pornography.
On Wednesday, December 17, at Lewes Crown Court, Mikey Winchester admitted to all charges, resulting in a four-year prison sentence, the imposition of an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order, and a requirement to register on the Sex Offenders’ Register.
