The Offender Database reported that George Michael Casson, a Moor Monkton Paedophile Sex Offender, 30, feigned being a 16-year-old male while engaging in sexual correspondence with a 15-year-old female from Buckinghamshire.

He was incarcerated for 19 months after admitting to engaging in a sexual conversation with a minor.

George Michael Casson from York, North Yorkshire, appeared at York Crown Court on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, where he was registered on the Sex Offenders Register and granted a Sexual Harm Prevention Order.

He entered a guilty plea at a prior hearing on 7 November at York Magistrates’ Court shortly before his scheduled trial.

The sexual conversation transpired between 31 January and 31 March 2022, during which he established a friendship with the girl on the Litmatch social community application.

George Michael Casson not only impersonated a 16-year-old boy named ‘Ty’ through a fraudulent profile to earn the girl’s trust, but he also utilised two more fictitious identities, one portraying Ty’s sibling and the other representing a “gang member.”

During this period, the girl participated in sexual discourse and was persistently coerced into transmitting explicit photographs of herself.

Coercive threats were issued to disseminate the photographs to her family and educational institution should she decline to provide additional content to George Michael Casson.

Fortunately, the victim’s parents observed her increasing withdrawal and intervened upon discovering the alarming notes.

The incident was reported to the local police, and the suspect was located in North Yorkshire.
