The Offender Database has reported that Anthony Crozier, a Seaham Paedophile and Child Molester, who conspired to exploit two children sexually, has been sentenced.

Anthony Crozier has received a prison sentence after communicating online with an individual he believed may facilitate his abuse of two children.

Unbeknownst to the 54-year-old, he was conversing with an investigative officer, and due to the endeavours of the North East Regional Organised Crime Unit (NEROCU) and the Yorkshire and Humber Regional Organised Crime Unit (YHROCU), Anthony Crozier was apprehended on July 29 and subsequently indicted.

Anthony Crozier felt he was conversing with another like-minded individual who had access to a seven-year-old girl and a little boy. He transmitted sexually graphic communications detailing his desire to exploit the children sexually.

Officers responded promptly, and after the inquiry, Anthony Crozier appeared at Durham Crown Court on August 29, when he pleaded guilty to committing a child sex offence.

On Wednesday, Anthony Crozier, residing on Rutland Street in Seaham, was sentenced to six years in prison, followed by an additional two years on extended licence, at Teesside Crown Court.

A sexual harm prevention order was issued, and Anthony Crozier will be required to register as a sex offender for life.
