Mustafa Musa, a Hartshill Rapist, has received an eight-year prison sentence. The 23-year-old from Lionel Grove, Hartshill, was incarcerated following a prior conviction for distinct crimes of rape and sexual assault.

One night, a woman awoke to see Mustafa Musa perpetrating sexual assault against her. He thereafter assaulted her sexually, disregarding her pleas for him to cease.

Cheshire Police were summoned in response to the Crewe assault.

In response to the Chester Crown Court verdict, a police spokesperson remarked: “I wish to commend the victim for her bravery demonstrated throughout this case.” Mustafa Musa deceived throughout the inquiry and ensuing trial, exhibiting no remorse for the suffering he inflicted on the victim. Due to the victim’s courage and the evidence collected, the jury was able to discern his deceit, and he is now being held accountable for his acts.

Mustafa Musa has been mandated to register on the Sex Offenders’ Register for life.

The police spokesperson stated, “If anything can be derived from this case, I hope it inspires other victims of sexual offences to come forward and report them to us.” All reports are taken with utmost seriousness, and every claim will be meticulously investigated, prioritising the requests and needs of the victim.
