A Scottish child sex offender and Perth Paedophile Spokesman, Darren Adams, who authored a paedophile manifesto advocating for the recognition of paedophiles as “another minority group” and the protection of their human rights has been punished for violating an order by failing to report to the police.

Darren Adams, who asserted that his “community” of fellow paedophiles experienced discrimination, was fined £200 after admitting the crime at Perth Sheriff Court.

Darren Adams was apprehended when law enforcement conducted a raid on his residence, revealing a disturbing collection of 18,000 photographs and films of child abuse.

The footage, which included boys as young as four, was discovered on his personal computer, accompanied by a written declaration asserting that he and other paedophiles should be acknowledged as a “minority group” deserving of legal and human rights recognition.

Darren Adams, 54, expressed no guilt in his status as a paedophile and enquired, “Why should I adhere to a law that does not afford me respect?”

Darren Adams, residing in St Catherine’s Square, Perth, has acknowledged violating his notification obligations by neglecting to provide the police with essential information for his yearly assessment in April.

In May of the previous year, Darren Adams appeared in the same court and acknowledged violating the conditions of his Sexual Offences Prevention Order (SOPO) by possessing a Blu-Ray player capable of internet access.

He was subjected to a three-month nocturnal curfew.

Edinburgh Sheriff Court had previously heard police uncovered a stash of sick videos and images featuring boys as young as four when they raided Darren Adams’ home in Dalkeith.

Officers also found his manifesto, which stated: “I believe I was born a paedophile. There’s nothing anyone can do about it.

“I’m not proud of this but I’m not ashamed either. I am more ashamed of the bigoted and close-minded way that society and the law treats people from my community.”

Darren Adams also wrote society should recognise paedophiles as “another minority group” and respect their human rights.
