An Ebbw Vale Paedophile, Ross Hughes, who dedicated over ten years to amassing a collection of 15,000 illicit photos of minors has received a 30-month prison sentence.
Ross Hughes, a resident of Ebbw Vale, received a sentence of two and a half years in jail following his appearance at Merthyr Tydfil Crown Court on Wednesday, August 6.
He had previously entered a guilty plea to three charges of disseminating indecent photos of minors and three charges of producing indecent images of children.
An extensive analysis of Ross Hughes’ equipment revealed that, over a span of 16 years, he amassed 15,155 indecent photographs of children, encompassing all three severity categories.
