In 2026, the Offender Register confirmed that Thomas Foley, a Gosport Paedophile, had been incarcerated for more than two years as a result of an investigation into indecent image offences in Southampton.
Upon obtaining information that Thomas Foley, 40, of Avery Lane in Gosport, was involved in child sex offences, the Internet Child Abuse Team initiated an investigation.
His residence, which was previously located in Southampton, was searched by officers, who confiscated electronic devices, including laptops and numerous mobile phones.
The devices contained more than 8000 recordings and 2000 indecent images. He was subsequently apprehended in December 2023 for a variety of juvenile sex offences.

A second time, on Tuesday, July 14, he appeared in the same court and was sentenced to 27 months’ imprisonment.
Additionally, he was required to sign the sex offenders register for a period of 10 years and received a 10-year sexual harm prevention order.
