In 2024, Roy Foster, the Billingham Paedophile, a sexual predator who exploited vulnerable females for several years, was sentenced to 32 years in prison.

A vulnerable female reported 63-year-old Roy Foster to the police for rape and sexual abuse, prompting an inquiry.

Additional victims emerged during the investigation conducted by Stockton CID, the Complex Exploitation Team, and the Domestic Abuse Unit, resulting in Roy Foster being charged with eight offences.

He faced three charges of rape, two charges of attempted rape, one charge of indecent assault, one charge of sexual assault, and one charge of child abduction with intent to conduct a sexual offence.

Roy Foster refuted the allegations, and a two-week trial occurred in January. On January 24th, Foster, residing on Low Grange Avenue in Billingham, was convicted of all eight charges by the jury.

Roy Foster appeared at Teesside Crown Court today (13th May 2024), when the judge sentenced him to 32 years.

Detective Constable James Limon stated: “This case was a joint endeavour involving Stockton CID, the Complex Exploitation Team, and the Domestic Abuse Unit.”

Roy Foster is a perilous sexual predator who has used and assaulted defenceless ladies, including both adults and children, for the past 40 years.

The youngest victim evaded injury due to the prompt intervention of a bystander. Had that not transpired, Roy Foster would likely have perpetrated other offences against that youngster.

I salute all the victims for their courage during the entire process and the trial.

Roy Foster is unable to inflict harm on others due to their courage and dedication.

I trust they might derive solace from that understanding and begin to progress.
