Phillip Wallbank, a Blackpool Paedophile and Sex Offender who sexually assaulted a little child and recorded his heinous deeds, has been sentenced to over twenty years in prison.

Phillip Wallbank commenced the abuse of the girl at the age of 8 and persisted for several years until she courageously disclosed the situation to school personnel, prompting a police report.

In a police interview, Phillip Wallbank, residing on Quebec Avenue in Blackpool, delivered an extensive prepared statement refuting all claims and asserting that the victim was ‘unreliable and vengeful.’

The 37-year-old was thereafter interrogated but refrained from commenting on the sexual abuse material obtained from his phone after its seizure by authorities.

The collection comprised almost one thousand photographs and one video of category C, fifteen images and one video of category B, and four images of category A.

Phillip Wallbank was subsequently charged with a catalogue of sexual offences, which he continued to deny until a plea hearing in August, where he eventually admitted all 12 charges against him:

Engage in sexual activity in the presence of a child under 13
x4 Assault a girl under 13 by touching
x2 Rape a girl under 13
x2 Assault a girl under 13 by penetration
x3 Make indecent images of a child

A judge handed Phillip Wallbank a 25-and-a-half-year prison term during a sentencing hearing at Derby Crown Court on 27 October.

The term comprises 19 and a half years’ imprisonment, plus a six-year extended licence period due to the danger and risk he poses to the public.

The judge also placed Phillip Wallbank on the sex offenders register for life.
