In 2022, Paul Buckley, the Manchester Paedophile, was incarcerated after confessing to possessing an indecent image and participating in sexual conversations with a minor, following his recording of himself trailing a schoolgirl.

Paul Buckley, aged 50, received a 12-month prison sentence at Manchester Magistrates’ Court.

He confessed to closely following a schoolgirl while recording the incident for several minutes.

Sgt. Richard Anderton stated that Paul Buckley is “no longer a threat to girls.”

Paul Buckley, residing on Church Street, Manchester, was charged with the possession of an obscene image of a minor and four counts of engaging in sexual contact with a child under the age of 16.

Paul Buckley was apprehended on Monday for acts committed between June and August of this year and in March 2021.

According to Greater Manchester Police, Paul Buckley was previously listed on the sex offenders registry and had not adhered to its stipulations.

Sgt Anderton, from the sex offender management section, recommended that “anyone subjected to this type of attention” contact law enforcement.

He stated, “We are gratified that Paul Buckley is no longer on the streets and poses no threat to girls in the vicinity.”

“We prioritise the safety of the streets of Manchester and its surrounding areas for all individuals, and we are dedicated to apprehending and prosecuting sex offenders for their offences.”
