In 2022, Muhammad Hesham, the Luton Rapist, A then 32-year-old man, was incarcerated for attempted rape and sexual assault of a lady in Maidenhead.
Muhammad Hesham of Russell Rise, Luton, received a nine-year prison sentence at Reading Crown Court on September 27.
In September of the previous year, the victim entered Muhammad Hesham’s vehicle, mistakenly supposing it was a taxi.
Nonetheless, it was a vehicle operated by Muhammad Hesham, a somebody unknown to her.
He transported the sufferer to an industrial zone in Holyport.
There, he perpetrated sexual assault and attempted rape.
Muhammad Hesham subsequently confiscated her mobile phone to obstruct her from seeking assistance.
Last month at Reading Crown Court, the defendant was unanimously convicted by jury verdict on one count each of attempted rape, sexual assault, possession of cannabis, and theft.
Detective Sergeant Mo Rashid, the investigating officer from Maidenhead police station, stated: “I am gratified that Muhammad Hesham has been found guilty of the heinous offences he perpetrated against his victim.”
The victim has demonstrated remarkable courage in confronting her assailant and providing testimony in court.
I trust that Muhammad Hesham’s conviction will facilitate her recovery from the harrowing trauma he subjected her to.
