A paedophile, Macauley Clark, who repeatedly sexually abused two daughters for ten years, was imprisoned in 2022.
Following a trial at Hull Crown Court, Macauley Clark, 27, of Victoria Road, was given a 15-year prison sentence.
He was convicted on 18 counts of sexual offences, 15 of which included children under the age of 13.
The charges included rape, digital penetration, repeated touching, attempted rape and persuading a child under the age of 13 to participate in sexual behaviour.
The court heard that Clark was 11 or 12 when the abuse started and that it continued for another 10 years.
He would undress his victims, assuring them it was “just a game” when he touched them, dubbing it the “tickling game”.
A statement read out by one of his victims said: “He selfishly took all of my firsts away from me, and I will never get them back.
“Even if I do manage to find someone that I trust, I will always have the horrible memories of what happened in my life. This has affected the friendships I make and my social life.
“This is because I feel anxious and self-conscious that anyone would look at me provocatively and take advantage of me, just as he has. I rarely go out and socialise with friends, which just makes me feel lonelier and more insecure.
“One of the biggest things is that I have had to stay silent after finding the courage to come forward. I had to act normal and put on a smile when it has been far from it.”
