In 2022, the Offender Register reported that a woman was sexually and violently assaulted by Luke Narine, from Herstmonceux, who was sentenced to three years in prison.
Luke Narine, of Church Road, Herstmonceux, was found guilty of assaulting a woman on numerous occasions between August and September of this year, resulting in substantial injuries to her face and body, according to Lewes Crown Court.
Additionally, she disclosed that Narine had subjected her to sexual assault.
The 27-year-old was subsequently apprehended and charged with criminal damage, assault by beating, actual bodily harm (ABH), and sexual assault.
On September 6, Narine entered a guilty plea to all four offences at Brighton Magistrates’ Court and was subsequently remanded in custody.
On Wednesday (November 23), he was sentenced to a total of three years’ imprisonment at Lewes Crown Court.
