In 2022, Jose Delgado-Leon, the Redditch Paedophile, was incarcerated for raping a 14-year-old girl.

Jose Delgado-Leon, 24, of Hatton Close, Redditch, received a nine-year prison sentence.

He received his sentence today (Friday, 26 August) at Worcester Crown Court.

The offences occurred in 2017 and were reported to the police a year later when the victim felt prepared to disclose her experience.

Subsequent to investigations, Jose Delgado-Leon was apprehended and charged with two charges of rape.

Jose Delgado-Leon refuted the allegations but was convicted on 1 June at Worcester Crown Court.

Detective Constable Julia Proctor stated: “This has undoubtedly been an exceedingly challenging period for the victim, and we commend and value her bravery, resilience, and resolve throughout this case.”
