The horrific rape occurred between 6 AM and 7 AM on Fox Road, Easton, on Sunday, July 6. The victim, a lady in her mid-20s, is receiving support from authorities and access to necessary specialised assistance.

We have conducted house-to-house and CCTV enquiries since the event was reported; however, we are now soliciting assistance from the public.

The individual depicted in the images, whom we wish to interview on the incident, is characterised as Black, with a shaven head and a well-trimmed beard, and is observed wearing white trainers, black trousers, a white shirt and a black jacket.

District of Columbia Isabel Sayer, the officer assigned to the case, stated: “This is a deplorable incident that has inflicted immense distress upon the victim”

The occurrence raises concerns, and we assure the community that we have not received any comparable allegations involving other victims since then.

Nonetheless, a single instance is excessive, and a comprehensive inquiry is in progress.

Our CCTV investigations have led us to seek identification of the individual depicted in the image.

We are acutely aware of the repercussions that the publicity surrounding such acts can have on victims; nonetheless, we have been unable to identify this individual independently.

Consequently, we are now soliciting public assistance, since identifying this man will facilitate the advancement of our inquiry.
