David Moriarty did not adhere to the stipulations of the Sex Offenders Register. The individual was registered for seven years following his incarceration for indecent exposure in October 2015.
One stipulation of the order mandated that the 69-year-old, David Moriarty, must inform the police of any change of address within three days.
David Moriarty consistently violated the conditions of the register, most recently in October of the previous year, when he neglected to inform the police of his lack of a fixed residence following his release from incarceration for a drug-related offence.
The court noted his “appalling record of compliance with the order,” having failed to adhere to its stipulations on eight occasions.
David Moriarty, with 44 prior convictions for 81 offences, was sentenced to 18 weeks of imprisonment.
