An inquest at Inner West London Coroner’s Court heard details surrounding the death of 29-year-old Saudi royal Prince Abdullah bin Fahad bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Jalawi Al Saud. The prince was found dead on the bathroom floor of his locked suite at the Marriott Hotel in Kensington on 25 November 2025. Hotel staff alerted emergency services after a cleaner discovered him fully clothed, but paramedics were unable to revive him.
Medical reports confirmed he suffered a fatal cardiac arrest brought on by multi-drug ingestion. Toxicology testing revealed a blood alcohol level of 222mg per 100ml—nearly three times England’s legal drink-driving limit—alongside potentially fatal levels of GHB, as well as traces of cannabis, Xanax, and other anti-anxiety medications.
Court evidence highlighted that the prince had struggled with alcohol misuse and prescription drug dependence, having previously undergone detoxification at the Priory Clinic and Rainford Hall Clinic. Assistant Coroner Jean Harkin recorded a verdict of death by misadventure, confirming that CCTV footage established he was alone in his final hours and there was no third-party involvement or evidence of self-harm.
