Police are looking for a lady who may have been told about sexual assaults when she was a child. The woman would have been between the ages of four and ten when the alleged abuse occurred, and she would now be in her mid-30s to mid-40s.

It is thought she was known as Kim, Kimberley, or something like.

She is claimed to have had brown hair that was shoulder length or longer when she was a potential child witness.

It is about a report of historical sexual attacks on a young girl that allegedly occurred between 1990 and 1994.

These were said to have occurred at a domestic address in Plymouth.

The complainant and the prospective witness were both students at Hyde Park Infants’ or Hyde Park Juniors’ School at the time, however police have stated that the acts under investigation are unrelated to the school.

Police Constable Nicola Saunter stated, “These claimed incidents occurred out of sight at a private location in the early 1990s.

“The prospective female witness is reported to have spoken with the victim about the incidents at the time and may have information that will help our investigations.

“The witness and the victim attended the same school, albeit in different academic years, but we want to be clear that the incidents under investigation are unrelated to the institution.

“We appreciate that it has been a long time since the incidents took place, but we are hoping that this individual recognises themselves from the description, and we would ask that they get in touch.”

If you recognise yourself or someone else in the description, please call 101 or visit the Devon and Cornwall Police Force website and quote reference 50001199585.
