In 2026, Kasey Fitton, then aged 20, of Amundsen Avenue, Bradford, West Yorkshire, was sentenced to an extended sentence of 12 and a half years at Bradford Crown Court after pleading guilty to 36 child sex offences.
The conviction concluded a multi-force investigation launched in February 2025 by West Mercia Police and Lancashire Police after Fitton was suspected of engaging in sexual communications with four children outside the West Yorkshire area.
The case was subsequently transferred to the Bradford District Safeguarding Unit, which exposed large-scale predatory activity and identified five child victims.
Detectives confirmed that Fitton utilized several Snapchat profiles to contact and exploit children, including the accounts Kaseyfitton23, Kaseyfitton24, and MyCroft110.
In February 2026, Fitton was formally charged.
During the court hearing, an impact statement was read on behalf of the mother of a 14-year-old victim, describing Fitton as a calculated predator who took advantage of her child’s innocence and caused prolonged distress to the family.
At Bradford Crown Court, Fitton entered guilty pleas to all 36 charges:
- 16 counts of sexual communication with a child
- 20 counts of making or possessing indecent images of children
Detective Constable Dominika Marcinkowska praised the young victims for their bravery in reporting the offences, while Senior Investigating Officer Detective Superintendent Alan Weekes categorized Fitton as a dangerous threat to children and urged any further potential victims who interacted with Fitton’s Snapchat handles to come forward.
On Monday, 7 September 2026, the court sentenced Fitton to seven years and six months’ imprisonment (90 months) alongside an extended licence period of five years.
The court also made Fitton subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) for 15 years and ordered him to register on the Sex Offenders Register for life.
Release Calculation: Under UK sentencing legislation governing extended determinate sentences for serious sexual offences, Fitton is required to serve at least two-thirds (60 months / 5 years) of his 90-month custodial term in prison custody before becoming eligible to apply to the Parole Board for early release on licence. Early release is not automatic and is granted only if the Parole Board determines that Fitton no longer presents a danger to the public. Upon release, Fitton will remain subject to licence conditions and supervision until the expiration of his custodial sentence plus the full five-year extended licence period.
