A 68-year-old convicted sex offender has been sentenced to 12 months’ imprisonment at Southampton Crown Court after failing to register with police within three days of release from custody.

Christina Moore, formerly of Chandler’s Ford, Hampshire, and now of no fixed address, appeared for sentence following a trial in absence.

The court heard that Moore was released from prison on 1 February but failed to report to a designated police station to complete mandatory notification requirements within the required three-day window. Moore had previously amassed an online following on OnlyFans before being banned from social media networks under the terms of a court-imposed sexual offences prevention order.

During the proceedings, Moore refused to leave HMP Winchester to attend trial. Jurors heard the evidence in the defendant’s absence and returned a guilty verdict on 13 October.

At the sentencing hearing, Moore contested the authority of the court, claimed discrimination, and denied being subject to sex offender registration requirements. Moore also requested to be identified as Angela Fullerton, with the judge noting that previous alias requests had included Danielle Edney.

Prosecutor Kate Davies outlined that Moore had a persistent record of non-compliance, having repeatedly breached notification requirements and appeared before the courts on numerous past occasions, which elevated the gravity of the latest breach.

Presiding judge Nigel Peters KC noted that Moore had been granted sufficient opportunity to instruct legal representation and dismissed the challenges to the court’s jurisdiction. The judge noted Moore had been held in custody since February serving a prison recall expiring on 29 October, confirming that time served on the recall could not count towards the new sentence.

Sentencing Moore, Judge Peters addressed the defiance directly, remarking: “That is the law whether you like it or not.” The judge set an initial sentencing benchmark of 21 months before reducing the term to 12 months’ immediate custody.

Upon release from custody, Moore remains subject to ongoing statutory sex offender notification requirements, strict monitoring, and court-mandated restrictions.
