Boer Ahmad, aged 18, of Southampton, Hampshire, was sentenced to a 27-month prison term, suspended for three years, at Southampton Crown Court in July 2026 after pleading guilty to child sexual exploitation offences.

The court heard that in September 2025, Ahmad lied about his age, pretending to be 15 years old to contact and groom a 13-year-old female child via the Snapchat messaging platform. The communication progressed to video calls and a subsequent physical meeting in a woodland area in Southampton prior to school hours. During a second walk in the woods, Ahmad carried out a sexual assault against the child, ignoring her explicit requests to stop.

Following the incident, the victim discovered Ahmad’s true age and reported the criminality to Hampshire Police. Upon being interviewed by law enforcement officers, Ahmad initially attempted to evade responsibility by claiming his mobile phone had been stolen and denying any knowledge of the victim. However, digital forensic analysis conducted by investigating officers established his direct contact with the child, compelling him to enter formal guilty pleas.

Appearing at Southampton Crown Court, Ahmad admitted to one count of engaging in penetrative sexual activity with a child aged 13 to 15 and one count of engaging in non-penetrative sexual activity with a child aged 13 to 15. In a victim impact statement presented to the court, the child detailed severe psychological harm, including emotional breakdowns, nightmares, and significant disruption to her education.

In July 2026, the presiding judge handed Ahmad a 27-month custodial sentence, suspended for three years.
