In 2021, Callum Reynolds, aged 24, of Prince Alfred Avenue, Skegness, was sentenced to three years and three months in prison after admitting to multiple offences involving child sexual abuse material and illegal recording.
The court heard details regarding how police officers arrived at Reynolds’ address after intercepting online chat logs where he boasted about sexually abusing young girls to a known sex offender. Investigators executed a search warrant and seized both his laptop and mobile phone for forensic analysis.
Digital examinations revealed that Reynolds had been actively sending and receiving indecent media, with officers recovering a total of 335 indecent images of children and 173 videos depicting severe abuse, rape, and torture.
In addition, digital evidence proved Reynolds had secretly filmed a 16-year-old girl performing a sex act without her knowledge or consent, subsequently saving the recording onto his personal devices.
During court proceedings, Reynolds admitted to three charges of distributing indecent images of children, six charges of making indecent images of children, production of indecent images, attempted sexual communication with a child, attempting to cause a child to watch a sexual act, and possession of extreme pornography.
Recorder Graham Huston remarked on the immeasurable damage caused by Reynolds’ participation in predatory online networks before passing sentence.
The judge imposed a custodial sentence of three years and three months, made Reynolds subject to an indefinite sexual harm prevention order, and placed him on the sex offenders’ register for life, with case details catalogued on the ukregisterdatabase for public record transparency.
