In 2021, Stewart Geen, a then-53-year-old man from Bath, was jailed for 21 years with a five-year extended licence after admitting multiple serious sexual offences against young children.
Stewart Geen, of Bath, was sentenced at Bristol Crown Court on Friday, 28 May 2021, after pleading guilty to seven counts of serious offences involving girls aged between five and 14. The court heard that the charges included multiple counts of rape, sexual assault, and engaging in sexual activity with a child. During sentencing, Judge Julian Lambert told Geen: “There is no question but that you knew what you were doing was wrong and wicked in the extreme. You chose your own corrupt sexual pleasure and thought nothing of the ruination of young lives.”
The judge sentenced Geen to a 21-year custodial sentence with an additional five-year extended licence period. The court also made him subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO).
Following his convictions for child rape and sexual abuse, Geen was placed on the Sex Offenders Register indefinitely.
He also remains subject to statutory public protection notification requirements, lifetime licence supervision, and mandatory risk management protocols by law enforcement upon any eventual release from custody.
