In 2026, the Offender Database confirmed that Ryan Clarkson, a resident of Swain Court in Northampton, was sentenced to five years in prison for the commission of child sex offences last month (June 19).
In December 2025, the 27-year-old was convicted of 13 counts of juvenile sex offences, some of which were committed on multiple occasions, for a total of 28 offences, during a trial at Leicester Crown Court.
Clarkson perpetrated the offences between the ages of 10 and 15, and his conduct progressed from sexual touching to rape.
Clarkson was charged with 20 offences, including six counts of rape of a minor under 13 and three of rape, after multiple survivors of his abuse came forward in 2022. An investigation into the offences was initiated.
In addition, he was also charged with two counts of assault by penetration of a child under 13, six counts of sexually assaulting a child under 13, two counts of penetrative sexual activity with a child, and one count of sexual activity with a child.
Clarkson, who had denied the allegations, was found guilty by a jury and convicted of six counts of raping a child under the age of 13, two counts of assault by penetration of a child under the age of 13, four counts of sexual assault of a child under the age of 13, and one count of sexual activity with a child.
Nevertheless, the jury acquitted him of seven additional felony charges, including two counts of sexual assault against a child under the age of 13, three counts of rape, and two counts of penetrative sexual activity with a child.
