In 2026, the Offender Database confirmed that a Leeds Safeguarding investigation had led to the conviction of Paul Benstock for over 40 offences against five victims.
Yesterday (16 July), Paul Benstock, 62, was convicted of a variety of sexual offences and physical assaults against both adult and juvenile victims, including 14 counts of rape, following a trial at Leeds Crown Court.
By the time one of the victims reported the offences to the police, they had occurred between 1998 and 2020.
Benstock, of Appletree Court, East Ardsley, was also identified as being involved in the creation of indecent images of children as a result of an investigation conducted by the National Crime Agency’s Child Exploitation and Online Protection Command (CEOP).
He was subsequently found guilty of these offences.
He has been detained in custody and is scheduled to appear at Leeds Crown Court for sentencing on August 14.
