In 2022, the Offender Register reported that Craig Pearsall, FROM Bristol, who assaulted lone women while they were jogging, has been incarcerated for a variety of sexual offences, some of which involved children.
Craig Pearsall, THEN 28, of Bristol, entered a plea of guilty to 12 offences, which included five counts of sexual assault and four of engaging in sexual communication with a minor.
At Bristol Crown Court, he was sentenced to three years and ten months in prison.
Perry referred to Pearsall as a “menace who preyed on lonely women” in his official report.
He stated that the streets of Bristol are now safer for women since he is incarcerated.
Pearsall entered a guilty plea to five counts of sexual assault, four counts of engaging in sexual communication with a minor, and one count of recording an image under clothing without consent.
Additionally, he acknowledged that he had made an indecent image of a minor and threatened to disclose private sexual photographs.
According to Avon and Somerset Police, he sexually assaulted five women in public locations in south Bristol. Several of the victims were jogging alone in the early morning in and around King’s Head Lane Park in Bishopsworth.
Plainclothes police patrols in the park led to the identification and apprehension of Pearsall, who is from the Bristol area and has no fixed address.
Subsequent investigations revealed that he was accountable for numerous additional sexual offences.
Additionally, officers discovered video footage of him recording a woman without her consent, including footage taken from beneath her dress, while examining his phone.
In the personal statements of the victims, the women discussed the anxiety they currently experience when alone and the ongoing impact it has on their mental health.
