After violating his sexual harm prevention order (SHPO), Joe Crawley, a convicted sex offender, has been incarcerated.
Joe Crawley, 23, of Woodford Close, Penhill, was convicted of multiple child sex offences earlier this year. These offences included two counts of arranging/facilitating the commission of a child sex offence and the creation and distribution of indecent images of children.
In April, he was granted a suspended sentence and a 10-year SHPO, which was subject to a variety of conditions.
He was arrested on June 10th for two counts of breaching his SHPO, less than two months after receiving his suspended sentence and SHPO.
This was in reference to Crawley’s utilisation of an anonymous online video chat platform and an AI chat application, both of which violated his SHPO unless he had notified his supervisors or staff and obtained prior authorisation.
Crawley was sentenced to 25 months in prison at Swindon Crown Court today (10/07).
