Anthony Drayner, a convicted serial offender from County Durham, has entered a guilty plea for attempting to persuade a boy to engage in oral and anal sex.
In 2019, Anthony Drayner was incarcerated for allegedly grooming a 14-year-old child.
After being found guilty of sexual offences against boys under the age of thirteen, the pervert, who has a strong sexual affinity to young boys, was already prohibited from using social media.
He has now acknowledged trying to convince another boy to engage in sexual conduct and breaking a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO).
During a plea hearing at Durham Crown Court, Drayner, 51, of The Oval, West Cornforth, appeared via video link from HMP Holme House, Stockton and acknowledged the new charges, both of which took place on May 19 of this year.
“I will ask the Probation Service to prepare a report so the judge overseeing the case will be fully aware,” the court told him.
“You are aware that, given your prior record, this will result in a custodial sentence.”
The judge mandated that Drayner remain detained until his sentencing, which is set for Thursday, July 30.
