An individual, Daniel Hudson Wakefield Paedophile, has been sentenced to a period of five years in prison for engaging in sexual offences involving children.
Daniel Hudson, 35 years old, received a sentence on Thursday at Leeds Crown Court for committing offences against a 14-year-old girl at a location in Leeds.
Daniel Hudson, hailing from the Lupset region, was convicted of five counts of sexual offences against the victim.
During the trial, it was revealed that Daniel Hudson had formed a friendship with the victim, providing her with presents and food to deceive her into believing they were in a romantic connection. Furthermore, it was shown that the sexual abuse commenced after he had gained her confidence.
Detectives in Wakefield initiated an inquiry in June 2020 on complaints of Hudson’s criminal activities.
Detective Constable Ashleigh Gath-Clark stated:
“This investigation has been intricate and lasted more than three years.”
Daniel Hudson was accountable for a series of horrendous acts of sexual assault against this defenceless youngster.
“The offences he committed were terrible, and I want to praise the victim for their courage and bravery in reporting the offences to the police at a young age.”
“This investigation was difficult, and I appreciate the verdict that has been given.” I trust that it offers solace to the victim, their family, and the broader community.
