In 2019, the Offender Database reported that Brian Michael Johnson, a Barrow Paedophile Child Molester, was imprisoned after confessing to attempting to entice a ‘schoolgirl’ into sexual conduct.

Brian Michael Johnson was apprehended at Blackpool North Railway Station on July 27 of the previous year after he came to Lancashire, anticipating a meeting with a young girl with whom he had been conversing on a social networking platform.

Unbeknownst to Brian Michael Johnson, he had been deceived by a group of paedophile hunters who masqueraded as a child to confront him.

The then 59-year-old utilised the social networking site Bebo to nurture his ‘victim,’ who was, in fact, an adult decoy affiliated with the Forbidden child protection group.

He subsequently coordinated a meeting with her in Blackpool and was ‘stung’ by Fleetwood Enforcers, who sent the information to the police and facilitated Brian Michael Johnson’s arrest.

Volunteers who entrap and apprehend paedophiles frequently function as two distinct organisations due to differing geographical areas.

One individual will serve as the decoy, feigning the identity of a child in an online forum or chat, while the other will coordinate a confrontation with the paedophile.

After an inquiry by the British Transport Police, whose officers apprehended Brian Michael Johnson at the railway station, he was indicted for attempting to entice a minor to participate in sexual conduct and for seeking to meet a girl under the age of 16 after engaging in sexual grooming.

He was detained at Preston Prison, and on Friday, 11 days before his 60th birthday, Johnson was sentenced to 24 months in prison.

Brian Michael Johnson received a 10-year Sexual Harm Protection Order, is required to register with the Sex Offenders’ Register for 10 years, and is prohibited from contacting individuals under the age of 16 upon his release.
