In 2019, the Offender Database reported that Jason Burrell, the Merseyside Paedophile Child Molester, solicited a youngster on Facebook and subsequently threatened to rape her after she rejected his advances.

Jason Burrell feigned being 17 when communicating with his 14-year-old victim, although the depraved individual was actually 26.

At the time, he was on parole after having been incarcerated for attempting to persuade a 12-year-old child to engage in sexual activity.

Jason Burrell, then 27, displayed a sneer in the dock as prosecutors recited the “chilling” communications he transmitted to his most recent terrified victim.

Liverpool Crown Court was informed that Jason Burrell, originally from Wallasey, Merseyside, and currently residing on Great Homer Street, Everton, had added the girl on Facebook the previous year.

He threatened to physically assault her en route to school if she did not perform oral sex and said that he would rape her if she contacted the authorities.

Jason Burrell confessed to causing or inciting a minor under the age of 16 to participate in sexual behaviour and engage in sexual communication with a child.

The court was informed that he was sentenced to 27 months in prison in 2016 for causing or persuading a child under the age of 13 to participate in sexual behaviour.

He twice failed to adhere to the requirements of the Sex Offenders Register, resulting in a three-week incarceration in July 2017 and an 18-week sentence in July 2018.

Judge David Aubrey, QC, stated that Jason Burrell had not adhered to any sex offender treatment and sentenced him to four years in prison, with an additional three years on licence.

He is required to serve a minimum of two-thirds of the four-year sentence and will be released at that point only if a parole board determines he no longer poses a risk.

Judge Aubrey mandated that Jason Burrell adhere to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order for a duration of 10 years and register on the Sex Offenders Register indefinitely.
