In 2026, the Offender Register reported that Jason Spence, a Pudsey Paedophile, fled and was subsequently apprehended. He has since been incarcerated after being convicted of sexual offences against four children.
Jason Spence, 38, of Roker Lane, Pudsey, was convicted of multiple crimes, including four rape offences and five assault by touching offences, following a trial at Leeds Crown Court. At the time of the offences, all of the victims were under the age of 13.
Additionally, he was convicted of offences related to the possession of prohibited images of children and the creation of indecent images of children.
On April 2, the court released him on conditional bail in anticipation of his sentencing. However, he failed to appear in court on April 16, prompting the issuance of a warrant for his arrest.
Spence evaded capture for 33 days before being apprehended in Ireland and extradited to the United Kingdom.
Today (Wednesday, July 8), he was sentenced to a 32-year extended sentence, including 24 years of custodial confinement and 8 years of probation.
