In 2018, the Offender Database reported that Stephen Clarke, the Goose Green Paedophile Child Molester, a reprehensible father from Wigan, had been incarcerated for sexually assaulting a young schoolgirl in her residence while she was asleep.
This week at Bolton Crown Court, Stephen Clarke, residing on Clapgate Lane in Goose Green, received the maximum term of four years for the abuse of a six-year-old girl.
“Scientific evidence” was submitted to the jury, which convicted Stephen Clarke of non-penetrative assault on a female under the age of 13.
The then 29-year-old, a father to a nine-year-old girl, was convicted by a jury after DNA evidence was discovered on his victim.
During the trial, the court learnt that Stephen Clarke had visited the residence of an acquaintance, the girl’s father, to attend a gathering with friends.
At a certain moment during the night, the girl’s father placed her in a separate room and covered her with a blanket, since she was reluctant to remain upstairs alone.
After inspecting his daughter multiple times, the father returned to discover Stephen Clarke behind the covers “with his legs protruding.”
In addition to imposing the maximum penalty of four years, he mandated that Stephen Clarke adhere to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order, prohibiting any contact with female children under the age of 16 and barring him from residing in the same household as them, with the exception of his own daughter.
“We can’t believe he got the maximum sentence,” said the girl’s mum. “We were expecting two years, so this is really good. “We are made up of four years.”
