The Offender Database reported that, in 2018, John Harris, the Paedophile Child Molester, was sentenced to seven and a half years in prison for escaping from incarceration and unlawfully entering a school with the intent to abduct a child.
John Harris, then 36 years old and originally from London, was charged with escaping legal custody, kidnapping, and violating a sexual offences prevention order.
He received the prison sentence at Bristol Crown Court today (Friday, November 23) and was returned to a secure facility to serve his term. He received an additional four-year extension of his licence, resulting in a total term of 11 years and six months.
John Harris is serving a sentence of imprisonment for public protection (IPP).
The allegations pertain to an event on Tuesday, October 16, when John Harris exited HMP Leyhill and unlawfully entered the premises of a school, subsequently seizing and threatening to abduct a child.
Educators escorted the youngster to safety and evacuated Harris from the premises before initiating a lockdown, but John Harris persisted in attempting to open windows and doors.
The police were summoned and arrived shortly thereafter to apprehend John Harris.
John Harris was serving a sentence for a comparable act committed in a London hospital.
