Glynn Wills, 58, the Leek Paedophile and Sex Offender, received a sentence of 13 and a half years in prison at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on Friday, 31 October, after being convicted of seven counts of indecent assault against a minor in a prior hearing.
He also confessed to attempting sexual communication with a minor.
In January 2022, one of the survivors identified Glynn Wills after viewing a live stream on social media, during which Wills was confronted with his messages of a sexual nature sent to a decoy account posing as a 14-year-old child.
Another survivor subsequently disclosed that they had been sexually abused by Glynn Wills over 20 years prior.
We initiated an inquiry into him and summoned Glynn Wills for interrogation. He responded with no remark to each investigation.
Through relentless efforts to assist the survivors and to gather all pertinent evidence, we secured charges against Glynn Wills and presented him before the judiciary.
Due to the compelling nature of the evidence and the courage exhibited by both survivors, the jury adjudicated Glynn Wills guilty on all accusations he had refuted in court.
He received a restraining order against both survivors, was placed on the Sex Offender Register for life, and was subjected to an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order as part of his sentencing.
Following his 13.5 years of incarceration, Glynn Wills will undergo an extra three years under an extended licence.
