Abdurahrim Yalcin, the Ramsgate Paedophile, a sex offender from Ramsgate, has been incarcerated after committing repeated sexual assaults against a young English girl.
Abuse commenced in 2022 when Abdurahrim Yalcin, 56, of Norman Road, Ramsgate, began to misbehave towards his victim, who was 16 years old at that time.
His conduct rapidly deteriorated, and the assaults intensified, with the victim alleging many instances of being touched both over and beneath her clothing.
Abdurahrim Yalcin endeavoured to conceal his conduct by purchasing clothing for the victim and giving monetary compensation in an effort to secure her silence.
The victim notified the authorities of the assaults on 5 September 2023, upon recognising that his behaviour was not only intensifying but also unlikely to cease.
The abuse lasted approximately 10 months.
Abdurahrim Yalcin was apprehended on the same day the allegation was filed with the police and subsequently charged with three counts of sexual assault.
He asserted his innocence and entered a plea of not guilty during his initial court appearance at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on 26 June 2024.
After a three-day trial at Canterbury Crown Court, a jury convicted Abdurahrim Yalcin of sexual assault.
On Thursday, October 30, Abdurahrim Yalcin received an 18-month prison term and will be included on the sex offenders register for a duration of 10 years.
