In 2022, Cosmin Pascu, an Imperial Wharf Rapist, was incarcerated after being convicted of raping one woman and sexually assaulting three others.
Cosmin Pascu, aged 43, was sentenced to 15 years’ imprisonment at Isleworth Crown Court on Wednesday, 21 December. He was previously convicted after a trial at the same court on Friday, 21 October.
He targeted ladies at events in the Chelsea vicinity from December 2020 to June 2021, proposing massages before assaulting them.
In one instance, the victim, a licensed masseuse, visited Cosmin Pascu’s residence following his appointment for a massage. Shortly after her arrival and the commencement of treatment, he abused her sexually.
In every instance, his victims reported the crime to law enforcement and received assistance from specialised authorities.
In March 2021, officers established a connection between the incidents due to a consistent behavioural pattern and identified Cosmin Pascu as the suspect after analysing mobile phone data.
He eluded law enforcement, prompting an extensive hunt by police officers that lasted several months until his apprehension by the Territorial Support Group on Kings Road in December 2021. Cosmin Pascu was indicted shortly thereafter.
