Michael Bucksey, 73, of Gosport, Hampshire, was convicted of 12 crimes pertaining to child sexual assault at Portsmouth Crown Court.
The court was informed that Michael Bucksey, a former electrician employed by Marconi, commenced grooming and assaulting his two stepdaughters at the ages of five and seven.
The amount and frequency of the abuse led the girls to perceive it as usual.
The abuse intensified in severity and persisted for a duration of six years.
The charges were multiple counts of sexual abuse against a female minor under the age of 13 and Numerous charges of sexual assault including penetration of a female minor under the age of 13.
On August 15th, Michael Bucksey received a sentence of 10 years jail, plus an additional two years on license upon his release. He was mandated to register as a lifelong sex offender.
