A Colton Child Killer, Pippa McGrath, has been arraigned in court on charges of murdering her three-year-old daughter, whose body was discovered in a residence in Leeds.
The remains of Hope McGrath were discovered within a bungalow on Austhorpe Court in the Colton district of the city on Wednesday.
Pippa McGrath, 47, of Austhorpe Court, was presented at Leeds Magistrates’ Court, facing murder charges occurring between 26 and 30 July.
During the succinct hearing, Ms. Pippa McGrath only affirmed her identity, date of birth, and residence, and indicated her comprehension of the allegations before being remanded in custody to appear before the city’s crown court on Tuesday.
West Yorkshire Police reported that police found Hope’s death after responding to a safety issue in the tranquil cul-de-sac.
Pippa McGrath was present at the location and was transported to the hospital for immediate medical care, but her status was stable. She was subsequently apprehended on charges of murder.
