The Crown Prosecution Service has permitted the Metropolitan Police Service to charge, Micheal Ward, the alleged Cheshunt Rapist, subsequent to a detective inquiry.
The Metropolitan Police has accused Micheal Ward, 27, from Cheshunt, Hertfordshire, with two counts of rape and three counts of sexual assault.
The charges pertain to a single woman and are alleged to have occurred in January 2023.
Micheal Ward is scheduled to appear at Thames Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 28 August.
