A Luton Rapist, Samad Ali, has been imprisoned for sexually assaulting a teenager he encountered in Luton last year.
Samad Ali, 34, was convicted of raping the victim after providing her with cannabis.
The Rape and Serious Sexual Offences (RASSO) unit of Bedfordshire Police initiated an investigation, resulting in the arrest of Samad Ali.
After a four-day trial, Samad Ali of Bury Park Road, Luton was convicted of rape.
Samad Ali was sentenced yesterday (Thursday) to a cumulative total of 17 years: 11 years for rape and six years for drug charges, accompanied by an extended licence of five years due to his dangerousness.
