Jamie Brand, a paedophile from Norwich, found in possession of over 7,500 obscene photos of youngsters, has evaded a prison sentence.

When law enforcement confiscated his devices Jamie Brand possessed 5,100 photos and 11 films classified as category A, the most severe classification.

One video depicted an infant, perhaps six months to one year old, being sexually assaulted by an adult guy wearing a balaclava.

Jamie Brand, residing at Cannon Wharf, King Street, Norwich, was sentenced on Tuesday (April 22) after admitting to causing or persuading a minor to participate in sexual activity.

Judge Andrew Shaw, who recognised the “very real efforts” Jamie Brand had made to address his offending, imposed a three year community order.
