A former officer of the West Yorkshire Police, Jenade Yamin, has been charged with 13 counts of misconduct in public office.
Jenade Yamin, 30, who worked in the Calderdale district at the time of his detention, is set to appear at Bradford Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday.
The allegations stem from an inquiry into computer abuse, unauthorised publication of police information, aiding an offender, and fraud, according to a spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police.
The offences allegedly took place between November 2019 and May 2022. Mr Jenade Yamin, of Branksome Grove in Shipley, resigned from the force in 2023 while under investigation.
